Redwood Acoustic Guitar Soundboard Dreadnought Size (KG92)

Redwood is a beautiful tone wood for luthiers to use in building sound boards for acoustic guitars.  It has a tone that many call warm and bright.  We recover our Redwood from the salvage of old growth trees cut in the 1890’s and early 1900’s making this soundboard a very eco-friendly and sustainable guitar wood.  The tree these soundboards was cut from about 1,600 years old and left on the ground when it was cut.  This piece showcases straight grain, good color and contrast.  

There are two book matched piece 0.18 x 9 3/4 x 23 7/8".  Dreadnought Size

Photos are taken two ways.  The first to show what the finished instrument will look like and the second photo is dry to show what the wood will look like when it arrives.
