Redwood is a beautiful wood for luthiers to use in building ukuleles.  It is almost as dark sounding as Western Red Cedar, but has a clearer presence has a little snap to the sound.  A great choose when you want to add some brightness to a dark sounding back and sides like Walnut.  We recover our Redwood from salvage of old growth making this soundboard a very eco-friendly and sustainable guitar wood.

There are three sets of two book matched piece 0.18 x 5 1/2 x 16".

Photos are taken two ways.  The first to show what the finished instrument will look like and the second photo is dry to show what the wood will look like when it arrives.
