Claro Walnut Stabilized Rod Seats (AF51)

Claro Walnut has long been considered the best of the walnuts for its color and figure.  It is just a beautiful wood and will make beautiful high quality knife handles or rod seats. We started reclaiming and using Claro Walnut wood in 1970’s.  The wood has unmatched qualities.  We personally recover trees that have become unproductive in the orchards of the San Joaquin Valley.  When a tree becomes unproductive it is removed and replanted with a new tree making this Walnut a very eco-friendly and sustainable wood.   We personally stabilize our Walnut wood for your knife blanks or rod seats.   

There is one blank 1.5” x 1.5” x 8 1/8”.

Our photos are taken two ways.  The first to show what your finished piece will look like and dry to show what the wood will look like when it arrives.  The blanks you see in the photo are the ones you receive.
