Redwood Acoustic Guitar Soundboard (KD68)

Redwood is a beautiful wood for luthiers to use in building sound boards for acoustic guitars.  It has a tone that many call warm and bright.  We recover our Redwood from the salvage of old growth trees cut in the 1890’s and early 1900’s making this soundboard a very eco-friendly and sustainable guitar wood.  

Redwood is a great tone wood for acoustic guitar soundboards when matched with our Myrtle or Walnut.  This piece showcases straight grain, good color and contrast.  

There is a book matched piece 0.17 x 9 x 23 1/2". 

Photos are taken two ways.  The first to show what the finished instrument will look like and the second photo is dry to show what the wood will look like when it arrives.
